Ok fans! You get to say that you heard it here first. Here are some Saints (to use an overused cliche) on the verge of a "Break-Out" season....
Reggie Bush - I know its been said before, but if you go back to the playoffs, you will see a different Reggie emerging. He runs with a bit more aggression and a little less dancing. He's healthy for the first time in a while and is starting to look a little mad out there (I'm sure the whole Heisman thing is adding some fuel to the fire). Besides, when you break up with Kim Kardashian, you gotta be mad!
Robert Meachem - Will be the Saints undisputed no. 2 man by the end of the season. Fast, size and more reliable hands than Devry Henderson make him the right guy at the right time. Drew Brees will make sure that this happens.
Malcolm Jenkins - I'm a Darren Sharper fan, but I think the Saints knew this was Jenkins job when they drafted him. After only 1 season, he is already starting to show some of the "Umph" you need to play safety in the NFL. I'm certain watching D. Sharp doing it all season last year helped a bunch, but I don't see D. Sharp getting his starting job back!
Carl Nicks - Will solidify the Saints guard position as the best tandem in the NFL by week 6. He goes to the Pro-Bowl and is mentioned as the best (that's right I said best even with Jahri Evans on the same team) guard in the game. Mr. Loomis might want to start thinking about how does he pay the 2 best guards in the NFL.
David Thomas - What! Yes, I said David Thomas will emerge as the No. 1 tight end on the team. Maybe not on the roster, but his stats will say so without question. Drew Brees seems to have developed a chemistry with him and his hands only seem to get better and better. He will have 2 more touchdowns and 15 more receptions than Jeremy Shockey (who I love and want to stay on the team until he no longer has that mean defensive mentality) at year end!
What do think? Let me know! Who Dat!
