Fleur-De-Links Saturday, September 25: No Soup For You!!

Come and get it!!  Soup's on.  Well, not really soup.  More like the soup bowl full of the latest in links, tweets, and videos for the Saints.  Is that the soup you're wanting to bury your face in?  Then you're in the right place.

If you're tired of this soup metaphor, then just go ahead and make the jump.  If you enjoy this metaphor, then you're out of luck, because I don't have anything else for it.

Today's edition features lots of college football tweets, contrasting views on Tusk, scouting reports, previews, and a feature story on Malcolm Jenkins, among other nuggets of news for the Saints fans.  Enjoy!!

A little birdie told me that Dave C, our fearless leader, is dropping into Tiger Stadium for the LSU - West Virginia game tonight - what a weekend of FOOTBALL!!!

Don't Jinx

My Tigers, Dave! (lol)

I'm not calling you a wussy, just your beer. My homebrew, however, is more flavorful and closely related to what men with swords and bad tempers drank 500 years ago, that's all.

nice sig line, CC - is that original?

and I’m not sure what Dave’s record is at Tiger Stadium…

It's gonna be a great year.

Oui, the signature line is all me -

it’s what I told my brother in-law.

And maybe Dave can yell loud enough to make all the difference (lol).

I like it - and have similar feelings about beer

I chuckle when the miller lite ads come on TV and act like they have a flavorful beer…

It's gonna be a great year.

I guess we have more in common than the Saints.

Off football topic:
I usually brew 4 to 6 times a year. I’m putting an oatmeal stout in secondary fermenter tomorrow. The rest of the time I’m trying / buying something different.

beer is always on topic

and I should clarify – I enjoy beer very much (although I don’t drink it nearly as often as I did in my younger days), but am too lazy to brew myself…

It's gonna be a great year.

Dave, will you be wearing your Colston jersey to the game?

I’m sure you’ve already left for the game, so it’s kind of a rhetorical question…

It's gonna be a great year.

Yeah

Dave is a good luck charm!! Hey Dave, have you kept count of the Saints win/loss record in the games you have personally attended? I don’t know how long you have had your season tickets, but we may have something here…
