Burn After Reading

First off I am pissed, like yall, we lost and it sucks!!! but we are only in week 3 and we are in a 3 way tie for first place.  After the loss I was hot and aggravated as you all were, my couch could not bear the pounding that it had to deal with and my wife thought I turned into Mr. Hyde, then I looked at the schedule and after reviewing the next 4 weeks we are not in to bad of shape.  In the NFL you can never really say that you have an easy schedule but here is who we are playing:

Sun 10/3

Carolina Panthers Carolina

1:00 pm

Sun 10/10

Arizona Cardinals at Arizona

4:05 pm

Sun 10/17

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Tampa Bay

1:00 pm

Sun 10/24

Cleveland Browns Cleveland

1:00 pm

Although up to this point some of the teams records are...well...a little deceiving these are subpar teams playing well past their potential.  I see that during these games we can make a huge run in the NFC.  Atlanta played well there were plays on both sides of the ball where the game could have switched to make it go in totally different directions but those plays did not materialize.  They took advantage of the fact we were down a starting CB in Porter and had a rookie filling in for him.  With that being said Looking at the Falcons next 4 games they have a much tougher challenge.  They play the following teams:

Sun 10/3

San Francisco 49ers San Francisco

1:00 pm

Sun 10/10

Cleveland Browns at Cleveland

1:00 pm

Sun 10/17

Philadelphia Eagles at Philadelphia

1:00 pm

Sun 10/24

Cincinnati Bengals Cincinnati

1:00 pm

Parting shots:

- Get well soon to Drew, Pierre and Tracey.  All three seemed to have minor injuries to knees but we cannot afford to lose any of these guys on either side of the ball.

- Lance Moore had a beast of a game.  I was glad to see him get back to the old form he had a in 2008.  I like the small college guys making a big impact in the NFL and by golly our team is loaded with them!

- The Saints will be trying out kickers but I do not believe Hartley's position will be in jeopardy.  I mean come on man!  He went 3 for 3 last week and kicked the game winner then?  He does need to get on point with his follow through...watch the tape.'

- S.P needs to give the offense a chance to punch it in when the momentum is on their side (like it was in O.T) I don't think it was a bad call all around but Hartley on opening weekend was missing those as well...I remember telling me wife he has been pulling these so far this year...sure a-friggin-nough he pulled it right.  I looked just like week 1.

- Shockey looked like the old Shockey! I hope this spells for a monster of a year!

- Reggie said he should be back sooner than prescribed.  I say let her heal right Reggie come back against Pittsburgh at the Dome!
