I come in Peace.... I Promise
Whats going on guys? Its the one and only Percy Harvin My Fav checking in to Canal Street Chronicles to see if any of you Saints fans have any questions about your opponent on Thursday. The Minnesota Vikings.
On a serious note, I had posted this in a different fan post but I feel it needs to be said again. Thank you to the Saints for the best sports game I have ever witnessed, and lets just all calm the hell down about the NFCCCG because sorry to tell you but we cant do shit about it now. It was 9 months ago, drop it. Lets gear forward to the ass whooping thats about to ensue on Friday which will put the Saints in a 0-1 hole, but knowing you guys you'd prolly win the next 15 and go 15 and 1. :)

We swung a deal
with The Miami Dolphins that netted us Greg Camirillo for Benny Sapp.
Camirillo isn’t going o burn anybody but he is a possession receiver that has some of the surest hands in the league (hasn’t dropped a pass in two years). He’s a huge third down target as is Percy so you will have your hands full on third down.
What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your entire rambling incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Yankees kick ass.
"Here's the funny thing. Last night, I couldn't sleep too well. I called my dad (Bill) at 2:15 in the morning, and told him I had a feeling I was going to hit the game-winner from 42 yards on the right hash. I think I was two yards off."- Garrett Hartley
that and they are probably in negotiations to buy out the rest of the MLB
Superbowl bound!!!...I know! do you?! Go Saints!!

lol
@ putting Saints and Vikings on same choice. BTW where are the Twins? I can’t stand them! Should have
anything related to minnesota as a choice, I’d vote that. Wtf no cowgirls choice either? 49 ’ers? Rams? Lakers? Red Sox?
you know, when you want something, and nobody can stop you from taking it, you just take it, right? I like that, but can you take it?
I hate
that crust that forms on ketchup bottles.

It's gonna be a great year.

If you're careful
you can sharpen it to a keen edge, and use it to assassinate your enemies without warning, and without leaving clues.
“Hmmmm…there’s blood on his collar.”
“No, that’s just ketchup.”
It was worth the wait.
very interesting

How did you know I was doing him when I said that?

Gee,
Real surprise about the Falcons getting the mosts votes, huh??

Good post Percy
I hate stupid holding and false start penalties and self destructive mistakes. LOL.
And you didn’t mention the cowboys on the list. I can’t stand the overrated cowboys. They’ve been on their high horse since they knocked off our undefeated season last December.
they're always on their high horse
yet last year was the first playoff game they had won in how long?

What's your WR and CB situation look like for game one?
Any significant injuries, besides those two positions?
Want to go to the Saints vs. Cowboys game? I've got an extra ticket.
Answers
WR should shake out like this:
RWR- Berrian, Lewis
LWR- Harvin, Camirillo/Lewis
SWR- Camirillo, Harvin
And with Rice on the PUP, Thats all I can really say.
For Corner
LCB- Twon Winfield
RCB- Asher Allen
Nickle- Lito Sheppard
We’ll get our second round pick Chris Cook back very soon but not in time for the game. Cedrics still out with the torn ACL that he suffered in the NFC CCG.
And as far as injuries go: Our Starting Center John Sullivan has missed preaseason activity but im pretty sure he’ll be ready, and like I stated before our starting corner Cook was injured in the third preason game.
Rookie Chris Cook is expected to be sidelined for at least two weeks and perhaps longer after suffering a torn meniscus in his right knee Saturday in the Vikings’ preseason victory over Seattle, according to NFL sources. That means Cook won’t be available for the Vikings’ regular-season opener on Sept. 9 at New Orleans.
Cook had a procedure performed on the knee in recent days and an exact timetable on how long he might be out is uncertain.
The injury is a blow for both Cook and the Vikings. The second-round pick from Virginia had been impressive throughout training camp and the preseason and started Saturday’s game at right corner after spending the majority of camp playing behind Antoine Winfield on the left side.

How good are your safeties?
and you mixed up Saints and Vikings in the last sentence of your post.
Two Dat!! Who Dat!?
Madeiu Williams is average at best
And it looks like our 7th round draft pick from last year Jamarca Sanford will get the other job. He is a thumper. Reminds me of a Sean Taylor 2.0 just not as great covering skills. I haven’t seen him going after the ball so I don’t know how comfortable he is back there.
If I was the Saints then I’d attack the middle of the field a lot.
And I’ll take going 15-1 even if that means losing to you guys :)

I gotcha. Thanks
If I ever get coach Payton’s cell number Ima tell him that. Haha.

thanks for the answers, BTW.
I’ve always though Camarillo had good hands and lots of potential in a better offense…. kinda like Wes Welker.

He was cut, cant say much on him due to an unwritten rule
over at DN. But I wouldnt be surprised if hes added to the team again….
And yep dont mention it

Hey Percy...
…if the Vikes actually do “the ass whooping thats about to ensue on Friday”, they will yet again be a day late and a dollar short…also, they’ll be 0-1.
:)

How is Percy Harvin doing?? I read that he thinks that the Docs have the source of his migrains pin pointed. Was is it all the Farve drama that was giving him the headache, I know I was getting one. But seriously, have you heard anymore news?
Last I heard they got him on meds to stem the migraines

The best medicine for migraines is banned by the NFL
There needs to be a way for players to get an exemption. Some kind of review board, yes I am talking to you Players association.
Forget the fact that we are talking about a Vikings player. It is unfair that any player is denied the best medical treatment just because the NFL bans a drug.

Like Northfan said below
They are as confident as they’ve ever been that they have figured out what is causing them. And they are confident that they can fix it, so that’s a great thing.
And like DrWhoDat said, yes that is why he tested positive back at the combine because of marijuana. The NFL should look into letting players with a prescription use it.

However he had better yards per average than AD did through the preseason
without the big runs. So he might be a solid running with limited big play ability sort of like pierre thomas :D
It's a lot easier to love the Vikings when they win...
