Official Canal Street Chronicles Fantasy Football League: Don't Forget to Set Your Rosters
**CBSSports.com is an SB Nation partner and paying sponsor of the SB Nation football communities. This post is one of a series of sponsor endorsed posts related to the CBSSports.com Fantasy Football Commissioner League.**
I just wanted to take this time to remind everyone out there in the world playing fantasy football to make sure their roster is set before the Saints and Vikings kick off the 2010 NFL season on Thursday night. Most specifically, those Canal Street Chronicles members participating in our official Canal Street Chronicles Commissioner fantasy football league. We can't have any deadbeats embarrassing our blog by leaving their rosters untouched all season.
I also wanted to extend the half-price fantasy football deal that CBS Sports is offering readers of Canal Street Chronicles one last time before it's too late and the offer is off the table. Make the jump to learn more about how you can start your own CBSSports.com Commissioner League for only half the regular price.
Here's the deal...
Because SB Nation is partnered with CBSSports.com, they are giving all fans and readers of our blogs 50% off their regular Commissioner League price and a 14-day free trial! Normally $180, you would only have to pay $89.99 to start your own league and get all the great features we'll be using in our official league that I just told you about. Then laugh at all of your other friends who blew all their money on some other platform.
CLICK HERE to take advantage of this sweet, half-off deal.
That's it. There's no strings attached. You don't need me or anyone else related to Canal Street Chronicles for anything. Just by reading this post and clicking here, you save $90 and pay half of what the rest of the world normally would.
Keep in mind that $89.99 price is for the entire league, not per person. So if you set up a twelve team league and divide the cost evenly among all of you, that's just $7.50 per person. I know you will all be creating fantasy football leagues this year, either with other members of Canal Street Chronicles or with your personal friends, so I highly encourage all of you to take advantage of this opportunity.
Here are some of the features that set the Commissioner League apart from others:
- The ability to manage your league and your team via your mobile phone.
- Expert and user generated analysis
- Live chat/league instant messenger
- Fast and incredibly accurate live scoring
- Archived league data so that you can pick up where you left off the season before
- Customization of entire league, rules, scores, teams and more
- Multiple draft options including auction drafts
If any of you want to gauge interest and/or organize your own Canal Street Chronicles fantasy football league using CBSSports.com Commissioner League, feel free to create FanPosts to do so.

Roster set.
I offered trades to two teams (Natural Selections and Somewhere Over Dwayne Bowe) over a week ago, but haven’t had them accepted or rejected. My autopicked roster is still awful so I’d appreciate a little help in trying to get a decent team, even if it’s just telling me that you really don’t want to trade Chad Henne for Chris Johnson.
If I am good I could add years to my life / I would rather add some life to my years.
I don't want to trade Chad Henne for Chris Johnson
Because your team name would then have no meaning.
Unfortunately, with Romo and Eli, I don’t need any QBs.
What would you want for Miles Austin?

I'd also consider something that involves Aaron Rodgers in exchange for either Eli or Romo plus another player.

I’d give you Rodgers and Chester Taylor for Romo and Arian Foster.
Austin I’d only give up for Foster and Malcolm Floyd.
Neither of those seem like they’d be attractive trades for you. Dunno what to say.

Yeah, not so hot deals for me.
Maybe something will shake out later in the season.

I sent out a trade too.
I would trade with you but i do not think i have enough depth at the RB position. The WR i would be willing to trade well you already have good WR’s

Just proposed a Braylon Edwards – Santonio Holmes trade with you.
Gonna have to make some weird moves to win this league.

I really like the prospect of Santonio Holmes.
The only way I would trade him is in combination with Charles.

BTW
Someone please take Jay Cutler off my hands for any RB. Even Montario Hardesty.
