Excited and Nervous??
Man less than 2 days before kickoff! Alright so who's excited and nervous at the same time? I would have to say I'm an extreme at both. I'm human, of course I'm nervous as well as excited. I feel like I'm waiting to see a very scary movie, when scary movies used to be very scary. Like the 1978 classic Halloween! Scared the crap outta me.
We all know it's going to be a very tough game Thursday night, but I believe we can win this thing if we don't commit stupid penalties and protect the ball.
I would like to know what your predictions are in Thursday's game.
I predict 35-34 Saints in a Halloween type thriller! That's my take for now.
Share your predictions!
It's going to be a hell of a game!!

Man, I don't want it to be that close!
Just got up to finish getting things packed up to head to the airport. Yeah, I’m excited and nervous too, but I’m trying to keep a lid on things for the most part! As far as a prediction, seems the Vikes have a big chip on their shoulders and plan to play overly aggressive. I see that causing them to make some mistakes, and giving us some openings to beat blitzes, etc. I’ll take the Saints by a score of 34-24.

I know how you feel.
I look at football season now like I used to look at Christmas. The opening kickoff this year will be kinda the same as Christmas when I was a kid, waking up early as hell and the present of opening season kickoff being unwrapped in front of my eyes. I just hope I get the super cool transformer I asked for instead of a pair of socks. :)
Underestimate No One, Take Nothing For Granted
It will definitely be a thriller SFinIraq
I remember as a kid, I never could sleep on Christmas Eve. That’s how I’m feeling this week. And I’m sure thousands of other are in the same boat.
If we're going with percentages, don't forget this one
90% of the game is half mental—John Madden
Peyton, I can eat Oreos faster than you!!!!
I need to take a biology exam and then go work out
Instead I am sitting in the cafeteria because I can’t get off this site! I am so excited, words cannot express. At the same time it’s like going on vacation…sometimes it doesn’t feel real until you get there. I think America’s Game tonight is going to get us all riled up on top of making me look stupid when I cry in front of my husband because it’s going to be an emotional roller coaster.

Never be ashamed of crying SarahT
We’re human, we’re supposed to cry when necessary. Keep the emotions going! Never be afraid to show them.
Heck yes!
If your team wins the the Super Bowl it’s allowed :D. Actually, I think I only cried after Hartley’s kick to get us there ;)

Don't worry J-Rick Brett will take it slow with you . And his line will bring protection .
Please don’t lie and say it’s your first . They are calling it the rematch you little tease .
--Sorry but with a title like that who needs to beg !!!!
No beggers in Saintsworld
Remember, talk is cheap. Whether it’s by fan bases, media, ESPN and all the other crap that flies in the air. Proof is which team has the most intensity on the field. You have 2 scenarios here gothic. You’re looking at 2 very good teams who are extremely focused for tomorrow nights game.
Number 1. The Vikings are very pissed off because their Superbowl dreams were shattered last season. They’re coming after us.
Number 2. The Saints are also pissed off due to the fact they want their respect. They want to prove that they are Superbowl champs. They are pissed because the game was too close and should have blown you guys out due to the 5 turnovers.
Your team was the first team to hold us to very ugly stats in the 4 years under Sean Payton and Drew Brees. For example, look at the night Nov.30th when we destroyed the Patriots 38-17. It could have been alot worse. That was the worst game for New England under the Belichik Brady era. Brady was taken out with 5 mins left.
Shit happens doesn’t it
Both the Saints and the Vikes are no pushovers in anyway shape or form.
Look what happened in the New England Raiders game back in 2001. The Tom Brady Fumble. There was so much pressure on them the next season to prove their Superbowl dynasty. They were called lucky the whole offseason. Same thing with us.
Are both fanbases concerned and worried? Absolutely! We’re human. But I will guarantee you this, the teams on the field tomorrow night are not scared of each other. The Saints are not scared of the Vikings.
The old Saints died years ago.
“Your team was the first team to hold us to very ugly stats in the 4 years under Sean Payton and Drew Brees.”
Not exactly. Worst offensive performances led by Brees since 2006:
2007 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 246 total yards (162 passing)
2008 @ Washington Redskins – 250 total yards (195 passing)
2007 vs Tennessee Titans – 252 total yards (218 passing)
2009 vs Minnesota Vikings – 257 total yards (189 passing)
On an individual basis, Brees has had eight other games with less than 189 yards passing during that same stretch, his low being 123 yards @ New York Giants in 2006 (both McAllister and Bush rushed for over 100 yards in that blowout victory).
