Fleur-de-Links - Jan. 28th: Is Gregg Williams a Candidate to Replace Jeff Fischer in Tennessee?

Not much happening today other than a little speculation on if Gregg Williams might leave us to go head coach the Tennessee Titans now that Jeff Fischer will not be returning. My guess is the chances are pretty slim.

Make the jump for your usual daily dose of links from around the web, including more coverage from the Senior Bowl and some strong support for Willie Roaf to be voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in this his first year of eligibility. Could it be possible that we see a second former Saint go into the HOF in back to back years?

New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams could emerge as candidate for Tennesse Titans job, but it might not be the right fit | NOLA.com

Payton, Saints handled Super Bowl week distractions
"Sean wanted us to unwind and to focus for the next week,’’ Fujita recalled. "He wanted us to know how distracting it was going to be. Most of all he wanted us to get out of New Orleans. It was a lot of fun but it was absolutely crazy in the city. "When we all came back to begin the Super Bowl preps in Miami, he was all business. He did such a good job of making sure guys were focused and eliminating all the distractions.’’

Saints defensive coordinator Williams connected to Titans head coaching vacancy
In my opinion (Allee-Walsh), the chance is slim and none of Williams leaving his job as defensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints to replace his good friend Fisher at Tennessee, if for no other reason than Adams has a long-standing philosophy against hiring family members.
