Malcolm Jenkins. 2011 Pro-Bowler.

Looking good if he can avoid opposing players picking him up from the ground by his facemask.

By week 5 the starting Saints o-line will be Bushrod/Brown at OT, Evans/Nicks at guard and Tennant at center.

Olin Kreutz was signed on Aug 5th.  Ralph's another one of those Tennant fans.

Brian de la Puente has far exceeded the expectations of everyone including his own mother.

He will then go the way of JaMarcus Russell...sCam (Cam Newton) is a flash in the pan.

Rotoworld Week 5:  Already the Panthers' goal-line back, Newton got the call at the stripe three times in this game while extending multiple plays with his legs. Averaging 321.4 passing yards per game, Newton is also on pace to score double-digit touchdowns with his legs.

Atlanta will hit 9-7 (Julio will fail miserably, and Ryan will do worse than 2010 in passer rating)

Ingram pick cost too much with too much risk.  Overrated, potential bust.

Ingram scores only 2 to 4 TD's IF he makes the team.

Well, he made the team.  And he's scored 2 TD's in 5 games.

May 1 2011

Hi_Fidelity

Ingram has injury concerns, may not have been the best running back prospect in the draft, and doesn't represent a great upgrade over Thomas/Ivory. and when you consider the price, it was a bad pick unless Ingram puts his butt in the Pro Bowl multiple times or keys another Super Bowl run.

In 5 games, he hasn't been injured.  No rookie RB is even close to performing better.  It's not clear if he was supposed to replace Pierre Thomas or TUSK! since they're both still on the team, but Joique Bell was released.

The Falcons will begin a steep decline based on this draft.
How are we going to tell if it’s the draft?

Their failures will come by way of unaddressed needs known prior to the draft, such as a good pass rushing DE to complement or backup Abraham. Ray Edwards is clearly not getting it done. Another known problem was a secondary susceptible to giving up big plays – the Falcons are 3rd worst in passing plays of 20+ yards and of 40+ yards, and they are allowing 8.5 ypa to opposing QBs (4th worst).

by HB-NOLA on Oct 14, 2011 5:25 PM CDT reply actions

Da’Quan Bowers? Who in the hell is Ray Edwards? oops

Your book is lying open and I don't think much is read

by stujo4 on Oct 14, 2011 11:25 PM CDT up reply actions

not sure what your intent is there

Are you suggesting it was a good draft trade because they may have ended up with Bowers as their second round pick?? Bowers hasn’t done diddly, but in his four years in Minnesota, Edwards put up numbers only because of the Vikings interior d-line (and to a lesser extent their OLBs). He was allowed to straight rush the passer far more often than a typical LDE is.

Are you suggesting it was a good draft trade because they may have ended up with Bowers as their second round pick??

I was inadvertantly suggesting that Bowers was a Falcon instead of a Buc. Us vs Them and the Them got commingled.

voted for burgers of course

and we’ll see about my popping off about the 11-5 Bucs (hey, they really COULD go 8-3 in their last 11, right? I mean they only have to play us twice.) and Morstead and the Saints going punt-free for a number of games (I guess there’s no way to stretch my prediction and have it count as correct if Morstead just has a good year…Ha!)
