Can't say the effort was there in the New Orleans Saints loss to Tampa Bay: Film study - New Orleans Saints Football NFL News - NOLA.com

+
There's a saying in the NFL: The eye in the sky never lies. After the New Orleans Saints' 26-20 loss to Tampa Bay, Saints coaches and players insisted they played with good energy and effort. But the game film revealed otherwise. Football games are won in the trenches and Tampa Bay's offensive and defensive lines got after the Saints and dominated at the point of attack. This resulted in a dominant 117-70 edge in rushing (4.7 yards a carry to 3.5) which actually was more lopsided when you factor in Drew Brees' 21 yards on three scrambles.
