KREUTZ IS GOING HOME!
My boy Johnny C just came through with this great news!
I didn't even have to start the cut Olin Kreutz.com website I was contemplating, whew! He just up and quit all by himself. So naturally the debate is now going to turn to who is going to be the priveleged enough to have Drew place his "large hands" under their backside? In the very beginning of the article he says that this is going to be "leaving a hole in the offensive line". On the contray Clayton, now that he is gone the offensive line might actually be able to create a hole. I really do feel bad for the guy, because I'm guessing he just lost the will to fight. Man that's depressing!...soooooo let's forget about his personal issues and focus on what makes us happy. Hope. Hope that the next guy performs better than he has this year.

I voted Tennant
Just because I want to see what he can do in a game. I really don’t have anything to go off of to compare him to DLP.

I really thought I had dibs on this one....shoulda done a FanShot
So lets make this the post where we argue who’s next.

It's tough because we have never seen him in a game
I still think we should give Tennant a shot, how much worse could it be?

well..
there are starting centers, and there are their backups… and then there’s their backups. That would be Tennant.
true.
I feel like Kreutz was in becasue he was a vet and we paid him. But I have no idea on how close of a race it was between the DLP/Tennant when they decided to put DLP in over Tennant. What if Tennant does better when he is playing between Nicks/Evans than DLP does playing between Nicks/Evans guards? They say a lot of the success an O-line has is based on their chemistry, amongst other things of course. I don’t htink you can really evaluate that without seeing it. That’s a part of the reason I want to see Tennant. Could he NOT create a hole any worse than Olin did?

We can always go for a legacy player next season
and draft T-Bob Hebert…

I seriously doubt he cuts it in the pros. Way too undersized.
You can toga party, but you can't toga fish.
Yeah, I was just throwing it out there for the Hebert and LSU fans to get excited. I’d be more excited about getting a good OT or DE, myself

I told you guys since pre season Kreutz would hurt this team. Results are that he did. He read all of my comments about him and now he’s gone. Look for Brees to get more protection and the backs finding more holes due to the fact that the rest of the line doesn’t have to pick up Kreutz’ slack. The offense starting this weekend should put up no less than 30 points because of this move. Now, next one up is Shaun Rogers. As long as he’s on that field we will continue in this terrible mode. Once he’s gone, the whole defense will be like a Super Bowl winning team. We got rid of one bad apple, now there’s only one left, only one and we will be better than 09.
Kreutz is gone and Sean Canfield is back.
wohooo!! We finally signed that third QB we've all been clamoring for!!
yep
