So, his mother throws him away and then later shows up at his graduation when it’s becoming clear how successful he can be. F*** that heartless bitch! I wouldn’t let her back into my life and I sure as hell wouldn’t help her out financially, which is probably why she showed up.

I remember reading this story ahead of the ’10 draft. When I heard we drafted him, I was ecstatic. One, because I was glad that a guy who endured so much was being given such a great opportunity, and also because I had the feeling he would turn out to be a monster TE.
