Fire From Above
I don't care if the Colts were 0-6. I don't care if they didn't have Manning. I don't care if Jim Caldwell looks like some strange lifeless being on the sideline. I don't care that the Polians' draft players that Manning has to make look good and not the other way around. It is a great day to be a Saints fan. Smiles, joy, and laughter are abundant across the Saints kingdom as we give praise to Breesus for being a football demi-god. I have been in some strange mental stupor since last night as I attempted to grasp the magnitude of the victory. I cannot count how many times I said "I've never seen anything like this before" during the game. Fire fell from the heavens onto the Colts as they were judged for their many indiscretions against other teams over the past 10 years. All those years of blowing teams out without mercy has finally come full circle......and he was wearing a number 9 jersey. Payback is a b*tch. I honestly think I would feel exactly the same if the Colts were undefeated this season. It wasn't about wins and losses. It was about brutal destruction against a team that has reigned supreme (in the regular season) for the past 10 years. You all witnessed history last night as you watched an empire fall. I feel like the Manning era is over and I can't help but think that we dotted the I on the situation even going back to the Super Bowl. I have seen bloggers whining about running up the score last night and I cannot help but laugh in my most sinister voice. Do you know what the Colts have done to other teams over the years and you want to talk about being classy or sportsmanship? You can all go to hell and let us enjoy this victory because it has been a long time coming. I mean we took Brees out in the third quarter and began substituting our second team. What else were we supposed to do......Start taking a knee at the beginning of the fourth quarter? I feel bad for the Colts fan base but not the Colts. We have been down this road plenty of times and I will never forget how it feels. I suppose it is worse for them because we were used to sucking.....it was generally in our game plan over the years. They on the other hand have had damn near perfection over the past decade and this is a long fall. I agree with what most Colts fans are saying and that a revolution should take place starting with placing heads on platters of all the prominent figures within the front office and coaching staff. (That sounds familiar.....I feel like I've said that before) I'm not even gonna attempt to point out all the rediculous stats from the game but I will conclude with just one..........Brees threw more touchdowns than incompletions......you gotta be kidding me.

And they light one up and they boast and brag
So content because they got a harry rag
"America, F*** Yeah!"
The Colts were terrible
Painter played badly and their defense gave up.
Wait til the Saints get the Rams next week, especially if Bradford is still out.
Reminds me of Kramer’s martial arts class.
"America, F*** Yeah!"
And that's the way it should be
every game, every week!

Look at the rest of the schedule. Giants and Lions and that’s about it. The rest are injured or otherwise declining.
"America, F*** Yeah!"
I know! It gives me high hopes
except to hear all the announcers harp on the fact. I actually think the Lions are abit puffed up. Giants, who knows? True Jekyl and Hyde.

Well, and then there's our division
We REALLY need to get a handle on our division. Convince them they cannot beat us!

Well, someone had to piss on the parade...
Too bad he’s right. Rams won’t lay down next week, especially at St. Louis.

For once! For one whole season,
I want to get bored watching our games. Feel like I can go up and make a coffee at any given moment. No moments of anguish and disgust….for a WHOLE season! We deserve it! Just ONE season!!!

Yeah I have dreamed of seasons like that
But I always seem to settle for a game or two…..if that. I’ll take what i can get. LSU usually causes me to shout random profanity that makes no sense but they are dominating this year so all is good in my world. I hope the LSU and Saints games are a precursor to me having a great week.

You know
Instead of the hot dog shot of Payton last night, I expected to see him sitting back smoking a cigar. To be honest, I would be afraid if I were Tampa in a couple of weeks. I suspect things might get ugly in that game too.

I doubt it
When was the last time we crushed the everliving crap out of a divisional opponent? Not that I wouldn’t give my left one to see us do just that.

Having said that...
I expect to win by a couple of scores (crosses wood, knocks on fingers—ouch!)

We should have done that last week. Let’s face it, Tampa is not as bad as the beatdown the 49ers put on them, but they aren’t as good as we made them look last week either.
Still, better late than never. We got embarrassed last week, but we’ve got two weeks worth of chew toys to work on (counting last night’s chew toy) before the rematch. I think the real danger is coming in overconfident after that. (Or, for that matter, next week.) But if we don’t, then we should be ready to have some fun and rock the Dome…
Week 11, 2009
At Tampa, 38-7 Saints win. 31 would probably be defined as beating the ever living crap out of them.

At their stadium, last year.
We did just fine. Better than fine. Not some crazy beatdown, mind you. But I don’t think we’d need that to be happy. Didn’t we nearly blow them out and if Malcom Jenkins hadn’t committed a personal foul penalty putting them in field goal range we would have?
Tampa vs. Saints is strange. They play us hard, indeed, and we seem to forget that, but it’s usually split between us. We can beat them. We can beat them convincingly. We’ve done it. We’ll do it again.

DARE we think that
the 2011 Saints might be gaining the necessary whoop-ass momentum to win the SB?? I would love for them to carry that attitude to the Bucs and Falcons in the next few weeks…
They are starting to remind me of the beginning of the
2009 season. Unstoppable was the word.

Run up the score my a$$
We could have easily scored more. They could have let Brees get another 25 yards to break 350 again. They could have left everyone in and scored on every possession.
They could have not punted once…. I am not sure but has the last two ever been done? They could have made history. Stuj-o-4man was right when he said the Colt’s defense gave up.. How pathetic.. Their offense is’nt much better. Even with Manning whom I admire and respect the Who Dat’s would have won big. The Colts’ and their fans shouldbe thankfull that we put the brakes on otherwise the would all be in therapy today.

Well I've been shaking all night long, but my hands are steady.
Someone in ESPN needs to be fired
if you’re a Saints fan, do yourself a favor and don’t try to watch fastest 3 minutes. NOT A SINGLE MENTION of the Saints. Even in a sub-section about records, the Saints did not show up. Tebow gets a minute, freaking Christian Ponder gets 10 seconds, Ben Roethlisberger gets 20 seconds. And Drew Brees gets none. NONE. I am about to go into full “Kevin Held” Rage Mode.
And for that matter, no mention of the Texans either, even though they have now moved into 1st place in their division convincingly.
Freaking Urban Meyer got more airtime.

Agreed. Coverage was about nil. It was all about T-Bow
Shoot. Based on the coverage you would have thought he threw for 300+ yards and 5 td’s.
