Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

As seen on Rotoworld:

The Saints have ruled out Mark Ingram (heel) for Week 8 at St. Louis.
Ingram didn't get on the practice field this week, even though the Saints are calling him "day to day." We have a sneaking suspicion that this is a multi-week injury. Look for Pierre Thomas to handle the majority of inside carries against the Rams, with Darren Sproles as the best bet for red-zone touches and all passing-game work, as usual. Chris Ivory may be active for the game, but has just three practices under his belt since coming off PUP.

Mark will probably be back next week.

At least, I hope he is.

I hate to admit it, but if they try to get Ivory involved this week, I doubt he’ll last the whole game before getting injured. I think Payton probably thinks the same thing and will lean almost entirely on PT and Sproles this week. It should be an easy matchup, but we are on the road and the Rams are hungry for a win. I think they’ll be tougher than anyone expects. I hope I’m wrong.

I think he may get a few touches, but they’re not going to work him too hard… I know TWSS.

But, they may get him some reps later in the game when we’re trying to run out the clock.

His fragility scares me

Ivory won’t last the whole year with us. I think he’ll be on IR before December. Mark it down, Stu.

I have to side with Pizza on this one.

I don’t think we’ll need to search for backs this year, but if we do, I go with the Joiquester.
