Vikings to Release McNabb
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Vikings are set to release QB Donovan McNabb on Thursday.
We've seen speculation on this ever since the Broncos granted Kyle Orton his release. McNabb will be subject to the waivers process with $1.5 million remaining on his 2011 salary. He would certainly have interest in playing for his hometown Bears, who have a higher waiver claim than the Texans. We're not sure he'd be much of an upgrade on Caleb Hanie, however.

Its a done deal
He asked to be released, hoping to go to either Houston or Chicago. GL with getting a contract with either of those teams.
LOVING MOORE, GRAHAM AND THE COOL BREES!
I have no doubt he could wind up in Chicago. Nobody there but Henie…and he just came off a 3 pick day that cost his team. For no other reason than a backup, Chicago would probably try and get him. Remember what happened to Leinart in Houston.
-Lombardi was wrong...it's the internet, not fatigue that makes cowards of us all. But then again, what do you expect. Not like the guy could see the future.
