Some observations (revised)
Darren Sproles is no longer on pace to set the mark for combined yards by a running back and he can thank his teammates on returns. There are continuing problems with return blocking that needs to be fixed and watch the holding guys. BTW he is 3 yards off the pace.
Jimmy Graham is on pace for 98 receptions for 1355 yards, which would break the yardage mark of 1290, held by Kellen Winslow, but short of the 102 catches by Tony Gonzales. He has already passed 1100 yards this season with 3 games left. He also has 80 reception.
Drew Brees has 385 - 543 for 4,369 yards, He is on pace for 474 - 668 for 5, 376 yards. The record of completions in a season is 450 by Peyton Manning, he throws 19 a game, He needs to average 302 yards per game to catch Marino. He now is only the second player to complete a touchdown pass in 40 consecutive games. He also has two records with 7 30-completion games in a season with 3 games to play and 33 consecutive 20 completions games.
Brees continues to have trouble throwing on the move. He missed a wide-open Jimmie Graham in the second quarrell.

BTW
As I said, Aaron Rodger’s completion percentage would drop. He is now below 70%, while Drew is up to 70.958%, which would eclipse his old mark of 70.623% by a significant margin. Not near as significant as he would be on pace to break the passing yardage mark or the completion mark. What is significant is that only need 632 yards to reach 5000 this year. Which means at the 336 yards per game level he is at now. He will have 5000 before week 17. By week 16, he is on pace to be at 5014 yards, just 70 yards short of the record.

Why are you so impressed by cumulative numbers? Wake me up if he eclipses Marino’s mark within his next 21 attempts.
You can toga party, but you can't toga fish.
Drew has also had 10 300+ passing yard games this season
He just tied the single season mark. Another 300+ passing yard game is very likely from Drew this year, so he could own that record too.

If you disagree with me in any way, you are wrong.
Each week Brady is creeping closer and closer to Brees on the yardage. Less than a hundred yards now separate them. I’m starting to think both will surpass Marino…but it’ll be Brady who winds up on top.

Brady has nothing but cold weather ahead
He has Denver in Denver and two home games in New England. Weather is going to slow him down.

on the flip side...
here’s one to support jeff’s point…
Patriots vs. Titans Highlights (October 18, 2009) 59-0… with Brady completing 29 of 34 passes for 380 yards and SIX touchdowns.
The guys good. People can claim inclement weather as much as they want….I can’t remember a single game where weather played that much of a factor for him in the last decade. One torrential downpour game against the Jets being the one marr i can recall…but then again it was their rival they were against…so you can argue the D had as much to do with it.

That’s a bit presumptuous. Denver’s sh**** offense hasn’t squared off against New England’s sh**** secondary yet. They hung 28 on Minnesota a week ago in Minneapolis, including two passing TDs. I would think they could do the same if not better, against the Patriots at home.

I’ll believe it when I see it. I clearly remember the Chicago game 2 years ago in which he passed for about 400 yards and a handful of TDs in a frickin blizzard. By the way…the weather forecast for Denver…a balmy 40 degrees. In other words….ho hum.
