Sports writer says Saints are outplaying Green Bay

Nice to get some recognition for what we are doign on the field. Mainly, I just want another trophy for the team, though.

This article is exactly correct, and very precise in what it is saying. RIGHT NOW — not two months ago, not a few weeks from now, but right now — the Saints are the better team.

They may no longer be so on Jan 22nd… and that’s allowing the by-no-means-guaranteed assumption that both the Saints and the Packers are still alive at that point anyway. Sadly, I would be rather unsurprised if one or both of us is not. Upsets DO happen, and we aren’t exactly guaranteed to beat the 49ers (even though we absolutely should), again assuming we even make it that far.

But right now, yeah, he’s right.

My hope is that the Saints are aware of what you are saying and just keep focused and playing their A game. As long as they keep playing at this level, they can not be beaten.

I’m also curious how we carry over into next season…we have a lot of FAs and I’m sure we’ll be saying goodbye to some people.
