CHA-CHING! Just saw this on TV tonight. Looks like Rallys/Checkers is bringing it back. Just in time for the playoffs.

Rally's down south, right?
I remember Checkers from DC…unless they’re all Rally’s…I’m so confused!

I've only seen Rally's
in NOLA. I live in Tennessee, and we have Checkers. I’ve always wondered what the criteria was to make them a Rally’s, as they seem far more rare and elusive.
I thought it was Rallys in all the NASCAR states, lol...

There was a Checkers near City Park, for a little while.
It’s not the size of your TOP, it’s how you use it!

Yep. Robert E Lee @ West End. It’s a Regions Bank now.

We have Rally’s here in Cincy.

you lucky devil… but we’ve got Whataburger and In-n-Out.
Rally’s fries are the best though…. sadly, none in Big D.

I was just in the Dallas area last week and ate at the In-n-Out in Rockwall. Good stuff. I had been there once before in Phoenix. Wish they had those here. Whataburger is OK. I’ve had them a few times, most recently in Pensacola on my way to the Super Bowl. I like how they offer ketchup in those little disposal syrup containers, rather than in packets or out of a pump. Quite convenient for fry dipping.

Next time you’re at a Whataburger, try the A-1 think and hearty burger… A-1 sauce grilled onions and cheese. It’s one of my favs from them.
Yeah, Chick-fil-a has those kind of packets, except they have two ways to open them – a squeeze nozel or a dip tray.

I heart the Big Buford... the fries and the spicy chicken tenders...

Westend Checker's
Wasn’t there a Checker’s on Robert E. Lee way back when, maybe pre Katrina?
I've tasted the Kool-Aid and it's damn good!
I love me some Rally's!!!
I use to have one right across the street from my apartment in NOLA, and it was a weekend tradition.

Rally burgers (the 99 cent ones) used to be a quarter pound when they first started. They’re slightly smaller now. You can add chili to any hamburger on their menu btw, for the same price as adding cheese. Not many people know that.

I did not know that…
I love me some chili cheese burgers from Bud’s… damn! That’s ANOTHER place I have to go when I get back to NOLA.
Thanks!

Bud’s Broiler is great, but expensive as all hell. No value meals. Everything on the menu is a la carte and only the hot dog sandwiches are under three bucks.

what's a hot dog sandwich?
and why am I craving it when I don’t even know what it is?
I just had a rap with Santa and we took us a little stroll
And all I want for Christmas is the Saints in the Super Bowl

There was a third franchise that was very similar for a while called Indy’s.

Pretty sure Rally’s/Checker’s bought them out.
