records
Sproles needs163 all purpose yards to be NFL leader in a single season, Graham needs 78 and more than Grankowski for tight end record, team needs 219 yards for nfl record in team yardage, and Brees just needs to stay ahead of Brady. Unbeleivable! That all could happen at home against Carolina on Sunday.
I think all of those records will be surpassed. List it.

that’s ALOT of yards.

Not really. Graham will need 100+, and if he and Sproles both get their respective records, the team record is in the bag too

that’s almost 250 yards for just two players… not saying it can’t/won’t happen.
i gotta go look up the yards the kittens have been giving up.

Yeah, but Sproles is all purpose yards, let’s say the Panthers have 4 kickoffs, if he can return all of those just to the twenty, he is halfway there.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised. Even if Moore were healthy, starters may start getting yanked at some point.
would rather see Lance out for the game so he can be healthy during the playoffs

"So I'll leave you with this. And I say this with all sincerity, right from the bottom of my heart, and with all due respect: Lick my balls." Grandmaster Wang
Jeff D. from New Orleans
was a bit off in this Film Study statement:
And while he was intercepted twice, both of his interceptions were tip-drill balls, more the result of bad luck than poor decision-making.
Sorry, Jeff, while I agree that the first one was not his fault (jimmy Graham – ya gotta catch those!) he threw that second one into double coverage and lofted the ball enough to allow the coverage to get there and make the play.
I just had a rap with Santa and we took us a little stroll
And all I want for Christmas is the Saints in the Super Bowl
But even then, it wasn’t so much bad decision making as bad execution. Drew said he didn’t have a good grip on the ball when he threw it, but that’s bad execution and bad luck, not necessarily a bad decision. With a properly thrown ball, who knows what would have happened instead? I don’t, and neither does anybody else.
I said Drew would only throw two more picks when he had eleven.
Stu even listed me for it. Sigh I don’t guess I’ll get to bask in my glory….because I know Drews got my back!

Jeff D. shout out to the Louisville lovers (4th possible):
(5:56): For the second consecutive game, rookie cornerback Johnny Patrick received some playing time in passing situation, often in the slot position. On this third-and-4 reception by Harry Douglas, he showed excellent closing speed to make a nice open-field tackle short of the first down. I’d mention that Patrick and Douglas are both Louisville products but then I’d be accused of bias.

Going to take a moment to stop and b****
about how I waited until Wednesday night, all excited for Inside the NFL to come on, because I was positive they were going to talk about Brees breaking Marino’s record on a TD pass during MNF. He was FINALLY going to get some well deserved air time.
And did they talk about it? NO, THEY SHOWED A 8 SECOND CLIP IN THE WHIP AROUND WHILE GIVING A BUNCH OF AIR TIME TO THE LOSER COWGIRLS/EAGLES GAME THAT DIDN’T EVEN MAKE A FREAKING DIFFERENCE IN THE STANDINGS!!! I just about lost my s***. I am SO FREAKING SICK AND TIRED OF BREES NOT GETTING ANY F***ING CREDIT WHILE ALL THE MEDIA HAS THEIR NOSES SHOVED SO FAR UP BRADY’S A** THEY CAN SEE OUT HIS EYEBALLS!!

yeah… I saw that too.
I was waiting for a 2 minute segments, or SOMETHING!
I thought I’d see something about it on ESPN (besides the standard highlights)… a recap of Marino’s stats compared to Drew’s… SOMETHING.
Whatever… another Super Bowl MVP is good enough for me.

Sarah, I feel ya
I happened to catch it in a rebroadcast yesterday, and had it on while I was putting the Fleur-de-Links together, thinking I’ll just listen and look a bit as I work, and when the big segment comes on, I’ll stop working to watch it, then go look for the segment on youtube in case anyone posted it so I could put it in the post I was compiling.
Well, the show kept going and going (no mention of it in the intro), and all of a sudden I looked up and realized they were doing the pick ’em and fan comments at about the 45-minute mark, and I was sure that I had just missed it in not paying enough attention, so I finished my story, posted it, and realized the show had ended. Whaaaaaat?
Then I rewound and found the short bit they did at almost the very end of the show – pathetic. GRRRRR!

My husband thinks it's because Brady is too close to the record
which might be true. They probably think Brady will break it and would rather do a big story about him versus Brees.
Greened!
I spent 8 years trying to reach him...and then another 7 trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply...Evil.
