Saw that Duncan had linked to this in his 1st and Ten column, and meant to read it...
thanks for bringing it to us here!
I just had a rap with Santa and we took us a little stroll
And all I want for Christmas is the Saints in the Super Bowl
meh
maybe I’m being a bit harsh, but this just seems like more whining to me – “Waaah! No one likes my team outside of Atlanta.”
But I’m open to differing takes on this, too.
I just had a rap with Santa and we took us a little stroll
And all I want for Christmas is the Saints in the Super Bowl
but maybe somewhere else in the magazine
I can find an article to help me pick out the right scheme of red-white-black tie to wear to a road playoff loss in the first round (or would that be GQ?).

probably GQ
"So I'll leave you with this. And I say this with all sincerity, right from the bottom of my heart, and with all due respect: Lick my balls." Grandmaster Wang
I was giving him the benefit of the doubt...
…then he used the phrase “outright greed” in talking about Brees setting the passing yardage record against “his team”.
Bite me, Failclown fan – the only reason you say that is because the coach of YOUR team chose to go for it on 4th and 1 when you were down by 3 scores with under 5 minutes left in the game, instead of just punting the ball away. Another whiny butt-hurt little girl wearing man pants, and looking a fool doing so.

he's right
the falcons and atlanta suck in general… bobby hebert summed it up best on his show one day. “they both sell out their games, the difference is Atlanta has about 10,000 die hard psycho fans. new orleans has more like 50,000.” (that number was pre k and pre brees)

Another big difference between New Orleans and everywhere else
But geography exerts an overwhelming and perhaps final pressure: You start by rooting for the team from where you’re from; you end by rooting for the team from where you end up; and in between you try to figure out where you call home.
I live in the middle of Panthers country, and I have never been even slightly tempted to change allegiances. I’ll die a Saints fan if I live to be Drew’s passer rating.

^this.
I’m less than 90 minutes from whatever they call that hole the Pampers play in, and I still BLEED black & gold.
Eff da Pampers (and everyone else in the NFL that ain’t the Saints!)!

Hell yeah, REC
I’m in H-Town, the Texans are the “New Old Saints”, and if they lose their 1st play-off gm, then they really ARE the “New Old Saints”. I’m not going thru that again. Saints fans are truly one of a kind. And with the NFL pkg. I never miss a snap.

Was there a point to this article?
Just seemed like a lot of aimless whining. I generally put my 3-year-old to bed when I start hearing that.
And maybe Marlon Brando will be there by the fire,
We'll sit and talk of Hollywood, and the good things there for hire...
Drew Brees the Steve Jobs of the NFL,
never read/heard that one before. Good article
