SBN Mock Saint`s rep

Had the pleasure...again this yr of representing the Saint`s in a mock draft (for some reason no Saint`s fan wants to rep them)

http://www.mockingthedraft.com/2011/2/20/2003460/draft-results-for-the-2011-5-round-nfl-live-mock-draft

Was wondering how you all thought I did.

Deandre McDaniel, SS, Clemson was my intended 2nd rd pick but the site crashed and my computer froze and the pick was made for me.

RD 1 Mark Ingram RB Alabama

Went into this draft with 4 picks with the intention of addressing the O- Line with at least 1 pick but did n`t. Brees was harassed at times especially late in the season but opponents did n`t fear the run game and tee`d off on Brees. Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush were missing in action at various times last season and might not be back, so having the best back in the draft fall to us was too good to pass on.

RD 2 Jurrell Casey DT Southern California

Hopefully this pick will improve the production of former 1rst rd pick Sedrick Ellis, Greg Williams creativity will find ways of providing some pressure from the inside.

RD 3A K.J. Wright OLB Mississippi State

Going into the draft we felt we needed to upgrade the OLB position and feel very fortunate to acquire Wright at this position. We see huge upside and will ask alot from him.Strong against the run and feel his coverage skills will improve but we think we can use him to apply pressure on passing downs.

RD 3B Steven Friday DE Virginia Tech

Raw, and a late bloomer but we see huge potential and at this point of the draft we did n`t see any player that could provide better pressure to the opposing QB so we went out and took him. We feel he can come in and start on passing downs and has the frame to add weight and get stronger without losing speed. Having no 4th or 5th rd picks resulted in us reaching a little on this pick.
