I’ll bet Shockey is best remembered as a New York Giant, outside of New Orleans.

Shockey’s career is almost like Wesley Walls’s career in reverse. While he may go on to play four more seasons in relative obscurity, his best years were before he ever got to New Orleans.

I would think Shockey thinks his best year was 2009. He never had a SB ring before that.

Nobody ever remembers that he already won a Super Bowl with the Giants before he came to the Saints.

Not so fast

I remember Shockey not being in playoffs at all in 07 giants superbowl playoff run. he had hurt himself and didnt play the last couple games of regular season or the playoffs.
