As the deadline approaches, NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith announced that owners have until 5 p.m. to turn over 10 years of audited financial records in exchange for another extension to the collective bargaining agreement talks. The union is leaning toward decertification. "We met with the owners until 4 o'clock," Smith told reporters. "At this time, significant differences continue to remain. We informed the owners that significant differences remain."
