The plot thickens: Ingramania, Chapter XLVI
According to CBS Sports, DeAngelo Williams has a strong hankering to be a Dolphin.
Williams was in town to participate in a charity triathlon. There has been speculation linking Williams to the Dolphins and when asked about it, he said, "I've heard rumors that I may be at the top their ... board this year."
And according to Omar Kelly of the Miami Sun-Sentinel,
"It's a little more than rumors."
Williams said he wanted to live in Miami. He also intimated that Miami might need to upgrade at quarterback, not only to improve the team but also to close the deal.
So there sit the Dolphins at #15, needing help at running back and quarterback. They could draft Mark Ingram. Or, they could use their pick to take a quarterback (I'm not going to speculate who), and in the process cement an understanding with Williams that puts him in aqua and orange this season.
Leaving Ingram on the board. And Canal Street Chronicles in a state of tense expectation not matched since Anthony Hargrove got hurt and CBS went to a commercial break in the fourth quarter.

These guys express my opinion well enough.
Canal Street Chronicles-A place of great Saints news and information. Oh and the stuff I write!
LOL!
That was a tense moment when Hargrove got hurt. That seemed like the longest commercial break in history. But, the defense held and the Saints now have a beautiful trophy to show for it. Greatest Saints Day ever!
Yeah, I hope the Fins get Williams. Mark me down for this, Stu: if Ingram is still there at no. 24, Sean Payton will take him. I don’t think he’s happy with what he has at RB. Only a top draft choice will cure that fever. Oh, and maybe more cowbell would help.
"As soon as Tony (Dungy) said we had no chance, I knew we had 'em right where we wanted 'em"--Coach Sean Payton right after Super Bowl XLIV with the Lombardi Trophy firmly in hand. WHO DAT!!

He would still have to get past New England
They may take a hard look at him if he’s still there as well.
Peyton, I can eat Oreos faster than you!!!!
And after that
he’d need to get past the Giants. KERRIGANSANITY!!

I'd rather have Deangelo Williams than any RB in the draft
Hell, Ricky Williams would do in a pinch for another year.
Bottom line: Both Williamses are proven commodoties.
Still draft an RB, just don’t do it in the first round.
