NFL 2011 Draft: Prediction Results

So as you may or may not remember, on April 28th CSC hosted a predictions thread for the 2011 draft's first round. I'm sad to say that only 8 people participated including myself. I don't know about the others who participated, but I had fun with it (especially towards the end of the draft when I didn't know anything and just guessed). So for those interested, I have the results of those mock drafts below.

Link to the predictions thread here.

Link to the list of first round picks here.

So after logging each pick, here are my results:

So as you can see, Dan Kelly had the most correct with 14 correct picks. However, he admitted to using someone else's list and to declare the 2nd place person's list the winner. In this case, both Andrew Tessier and Ponysaints tie in first place with 7 correct picks. So in the case of a tiebreaker, I said I would go to who had the most positions correct. So who had the most positions correct?

So the winner by 3 positions is...Andrew Tessier!! He got 37.5% positions right in the first round and had a total of 22% picks right. While that seems low, the draft is anything but predictable and Andrew was able to gauge what 1/5 of the GMs were thinking.

Full Results:

1st. Andrew Tessier-7

2nd. Ponysaints-7

3rd. Jeff.l.b-6

4th. Lostastic-4

4th. Jon Banks-4

6th. Jee-3

6th. MobileSaint-3

8th. David Kelly-14( Note: he cheated :-) )
