Somebody needs to take his Twitter away. I don’t care if he’s joking or not, that’s not anything I want to hear from a player of my team. I guess I’ll go cry him a river…It’s been fun.

Jeez...Let's list all the problems
1) Mentioning that he isn’t working out or preparing for the upcoming season which will be CRUCIAL to determine whether or not he will even be on the team
2) Complaining about a job, everyone would want
3) Telling people that his “It was fun New Orleans” was a joke and that we all need a sense of humor. The tweet was sent today, while the original tweet was a week and a half ago.

Reasons not to care about this
1) So what if he’s not working out? Not every player is. AJ Hawk has said that he thinks they’re disastrous, and that he wants no part in them. I don’t think that’s affecting his status in Green Bay.
2) He clearly says he’s joking about slaving in 100 degree weather. It’s in his very next tweet.

What I do care about is the fact that him saying that will not affect his position in Green Bay. Why would Reggie’s position in New Orleans be affected by it either? Sean and Mickey aren’t stupid. I’m sure they realize it was a joke.
And, to be honest, why would you want a guy, who has been injured pretty much his whole career, hitting guys full speed if he doesn’t have to?

Do you need to hear that we (at least I) wish no ill will to Reggie, and am glad that he was a part of the superbowl year? OK there I said it.

This is why we need football...
We have a perfect display here of what happens when fanatics don’t have OTAs, FA, and eventually Training camp to pontificate about. Players have too much time to themselves to say R-I-diculous stuff, and we turn everyone into the likes of TO or Chris Johnson when they say anything. I just don’t have the energy to get worked up about this. He knows a lot of people already think that he coasts. He stuck his needle right into that vein and gave them a good fix. I understand how those people would get worked up because that was his intent. What I don’t really understand is the anger that came forth from those that should know that he doesn’t coast.
