Has anyone watched Price is Right recently? (and this isn’t a Drew Carey bashing) People are just getting dumber and dumber…ok we all know how to do that “one dollar over the previous bidder” thing goes…the main thing is that you have to be the last person bidding to pull that trick…more and more when I watch the show, these idiots are trying that on the 2nd bid! I just sit there and yell at my TV…and the even dumber thing is…the 3rd guy will try it. too! GAHH!!! same for the actual bidding of a dollar. I saw the 3rd guy bid 1 dollar…so the last guy just bid $2…ok I’m done now…sorry about that

And just as you have planted your seed in the ground, I'm going to plant my seed in you.

…no suits, but I do wear ‘camp’ shirts and nice shoes with my jeans.

And yeah, I’m a ‘goodie two shoes’ (don’t drink, don’t smoke, etc)

…and used to wear glasses
…and I’m a computer/Internet/marketing geek

But, I got LASIK a few years ago, and I’ve recently shaved my head and grew a chin/soul patch goatee… and I started letting it grow, just for kicks.

I thought it was pretty cool that she thought I was a tattoo artist – even though I don’t have any tats yet.

We'll have to work on that CSC Meet N Greet Post

Do You think it’s possible we might have a CSC meet/ convention someday? – Cajun C.

I would love that. It’s been discussed but we’ve never followed through. It’s tough with so many readers from all across the globe. But if someone is willing to organize something here in New Orleans, I will certainly be there.

Substitute Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur for the Coke and it’s a New Orleans Iced Tea, my personal favorite.

We used to...

Back in the day… We would buy a new 55 gal trash can and everyone would pour in their favorite White liquor along with bananas. oranges, lemons and Tropical punch and Ice. Stir it all up and partee. We called it Jungle Juice.

I’ve heard something of the same name and is very similar, except it’s a couple bottles of everclear and hawaiian punch and fruits…it’ll def get you in trouble

We poured in our favorite white liquor

You can bet there was some everclear in it. Some white lighting too when the Old man I knew was operating his still.

Yep, I know people

My cousin works with a guy who is married to the brother of D Smith’s drycleaner

Last December when I was with New Orleans, our fat punk kicker, Garrett Hartley, missed a game-winner and we lost for the second week in a row – that was one of the times you want to grab a guy and tell him to [bug ] off," Fujita said. "But Hartley was young, and I didn’t want to mess him up for good, so I just bit my lip and said, ‘Hey, man, don’t worry about it — it was a team loss,’ which of course was a total lie."

A procedural question

How will you determine what the official “end” of the lockout is?

Is it when the NFL doors/team offices actually and officially open to the players again?

Or will it be when it’s announced/confirmed/reported to be over by the media?

Thumbs up, everybody...

Media I guess, when they say it’s over…it’s over…unless it’s not over of course…then it’s not over

yeah, but I argue that the lockout isn't over

until the doors of the NFL officially re-open to the players (unless the media announce it’s over at 12:01 am on July 14 – ha ha)
