While Bushrod has been spending some of his time during the NFL lockout organizing his charity weekend, he also has been a regular participant at the workouts Saints players have been holding at Tulane.
"I haven’t missed a single one," he said. "I think it’s very vital for us as a team to mimic what we would be doing in the organization now. We’re conditioning, we’re lifting hard, but within the next couple of week we need to start practicing, going over plays and all that good stuff so it’s kind of fresh in our minds just in case this thing does get solved around training camp time and we’re not trying to learn the system over and over again."
