Saints Add 21 Undrafted Free Agents Before Start of Training Camp Today
Though the New Orleans Saints have not signed any of their own free agents, released any players or made any blockbuster trades, they continue to be active during the abbreviated free agency period by signing undrafted free agents like mad.
To date, the Saints have signed 20 undrafted free agents, including four wide receivers, four offensive lineman, three linebackers and two safeties, among others. Many of these came late last night so if you're not a night owl, you can find the complete list of signings, including links to the original article, after the jump.
Wide Receiver's Kevin Dizar and DeAndre Brown did not sign with the Saints as earlier reports indicated.
The Saints begin training camp today as players are required to report for meetings and physicals. This is it folks! Saints football is officially here!
Keep it here on Canal Street Chronicles all day as we keep you updated on any and all roster moves and training camp news as it happens.

Is the Jake Rogers signing a strategic move intended to light a fire under Hartley?…or a legit move to fill the backup spot?
Only way to keep him focused in camp if they take away all his adderall

The former. Bringing a second placekicker and/or punter into training camp isn’t uncommon, no matter who the incumbents are.

Not sure he sees it that way…but I appreciate the spin. You should consider marketing ;)

In a way I’m already in marketing.
Customer: Do you have anything cheaper than that?
Me: Nope
Customer: That price seems high.
Me: Nope
Customer: Is that all you know how to say"
Me: Nope, do you want the filter or not?
Now that’s how you market something.
I forgot! The other day I put some slow moving items on the counter by my computer. I drew a little face on the box and wrote Look At Me. Does that count? I have sold 6 in two days. Sometimes you have to shove items in the customers face for them to notice anything.
Does that count?
I think that counts…you’re driving sales my friend. cha-ching, cha-ching $$$$$$$$$$$.

According to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald, Carson Palmer is the Dolphins’ “top choice.”
according to rotoworld. good luck with that; maybe that’s why the Dolphins will finish last in their division.

I’m saying it’s bad not because of Carson— who I think can be much better than what we last saw—, but because of stubborn Mike Brown who clearly is not going to trade him.
What I should have said is it looks like the Dolphins need a more realistic plan.

Though I do think Mike Brown is a d***. “He needs to honor his contract and word and blah blah blah” **** You Mike Brown. How do you ’honor" contracts when cutting players?

Jon, like we was discussing last night, it looks like the Jets are serious about Nnamdi. Being reported everywhere, but consensus is they can spread enough bonus money over next 5 years to make 11 cap number low enough.

I don’t like the Jets, but hope the do that. I’d love to see the Texans NOT get a CB, because I don’t think the Colts will be strong and don’t want the Texans to be either. I think if the Jets make this move, they suffer with depth, horribly, and it will cost them when it counts. Plus it would be fun to watch during regular season.
Im moving to the DeAndre mcDaniel thread with updates since it is newest.
