The New Orleans Saints have kept a little veteran leadership and depth in the secondary by re-signing cornerback Leigh Torrence. More importantly, Torrence is been a special teams ace. Leigh himself announced his signing via his Twitter account:
Grateful for the chance to be back in that Black and Gold for another season! #whodat
I like the move. If the Saints are serious about improving their kickoff coverage, Torrence is sure to help.
The Saints are beginning to check their own free agents off the list. More exciting moves should come tomorrow.
