Another one bites the dust. Remi Ayodele, the Saints starting NT in 2010, has left the Saints and signed with the Vikings. The news comes via nola.com
New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Remi Ayodele has agreed to terms with the Minnesota Vikings, according to a league source.
This opens up the possibility for the Saints to sign another defensive tackle. I don't have enough faith in Shaun Rogers to pick up all the slack. But regardless, Ayodele is gone.
Ayodele has has been with the Saints since 2008 when he came from the Cowboys. He was one of the guys on the line during New Orleans Super Bowl winning, 2009 season. He was always an underrated player, and he will be missed. Good luck to Remi. I hope he does well (except when the Vikings play the Saints).
Make the jump to see Remi saving the Saints butt in the NFC Championship game.
