Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune believes RB Chris Ivory (Lisfranc surgery) looks "a ways away" from returning to practice.
Ivory was still limping slightly after conditioning drills, which is eye-catching at more than six months removed from surgery. The drafting of Mark Ingram suggests the Saints were skeptical that Ivory could return to pre-injury form in 2011. We wouldn't be surprised if he starts the season on the PUP list.

well like it said, people were skeptical for his speedy recovery which makes the INGRAM draft make more sense. hopefully he’ll take a few weeks off at the beginning to get back to 1000% so he can GO AMERICA ALL OVER THEIR ASSES.

leads me to believe that this is more serious than we thought and jeff may have a valid point. hopefully lynell can step in and pick up the slack.
