What next, Mickey?

What Next, Mickey? by Preston J. Gary, Jr. (P.J.) ‹!-- / icon and title --›‹!-- message --›‹!-- some other pointless tag --›So, here's the deal: you're Mickey Loomis (thanks, Mickey!), and you've just been told by Khai Harley (thanks, Khai!) that you're still seven million under the cap. Enough to make one more splashy free agent signing.

What do you do?

Olin Kreutz is still available. Do you sign a veteran center, relegating Matt Tennant to the bench?

Andre Carter is still available. Do you sign another defensive end, knowing that you may only use him for a quarter of the season?

Kevin Boss is still available. Do you sign another tight end, knowing that Sean Payton cherishes an unrealized dream of becoming the father of the 3-tight end offense?

You can only have one, Mickey, so choose carefully. Consult with Sean and Gregg. By the way, I hear MtnExile is still available to return kickoffs. This is a one-game offer, but think how much the film rights alone would be worth.

What do you do, Mickey? (And thanks, by the way.)
