Lafayette LL Cajuns, after blowing a 8-0 lead, and down 11-8 in extra innings, The Cajuns come back to WIN! 12-11 over Texas West (Midland Northern) in Waco, TX in the 100+ degree heat. My nephew is a pitcher/OF and led the team in HR's. Let's Geaux Cajuns....put'em in the Gumbo! Listen on KPEL 1420 AM Lafayette, Game 2 v. Arkansas 6pm Aug 6.

There's something about Lafayette and Little League Baseball.

When my first wife was growing up in Lafayette, the kid who lived next door was Ron Guidry.

probably every year, a hot bed of baseball. This team the “Cardiac Cajuns” Fri night, Sat. was less stressful, 2Grand Slams, and a 3 R HR, 10 run rule win! I lived in Carencro 1993 I think drove by Ron Guidry’s house once/tw. a wk.
