A nice turn around from last week's game against the Packers, the Saints dominated the Bears in all facets of the game. The Saints defense shut down the pass, did somewhat well against the run and put Cutler on the ground early and often. The difference in their pass rush was night and day from last week, though the Bears poor offensive line may account for some of that. This defense also still has some trouble with wrapping up and tackling ball carriers, though that's a minor point to complain about after this game.
Meanwhile, the Saints offense was up to its old ways by putting up 30 points on the scoreboard. However, the Saints again struggled on third and short and in the redzone. Sean Payton has no faith in running up the gut, or running at all for that matter, as the Saints continued passing in the 4th quarter to run time off the clock, instead of grinding it out on the ground.
