For some reason, people in general, fans and media, sometimes seem to think it’s okay to reference Katrina when making a prediction about their team beating the Saints. You don’t see that kind of crap against the Jets or Giants, with folks using a 9/11 reference.

Same mentality, same inhumane trash talk as the Chicago fan with the infamous sign. I don’t suppose it would make any difference if they were reminded that lives were lost, i.e. thousands of lives; yet, they cavalierly spew their ignorance and now one currently claims some grand personal integrity regarding a ceremonial trip to a famous house in the nation’s capital.*

Should we ban the Scorpions song “rock you like a hurricane” from ever being played in the state of Louisiana until the end of time? Should we have check-posts at the state line to ban anyone named Katrina from entering? And should we deport anyone named Katrina who already lives here?
