According the the NFL, the Saints have the fifth fewest miles to travel for away games during the 2011 season with a total of 10,380. Only the Titans, Colts, Jaguars and Bengals will stay closer to home this year.
The Saints will actually be knocking out a big chunk of that total right off the bat with their trip to Green Bay this week, which is about as long as their other trip to Minneapolis later in the season. Both of those games are the farthest the team will have to travel this year.
Not having to deal with the rigors of travel as much as their NFL counterparts certainly can't be a bad thing. Whether or not it's a good thing is probably debatable, however. So what do you think?
