Well that was some barn burner we played tonight. And I thought Brees and the offense played very well. However, the red zone woes hurt us again and I'll say it again for the 100th time. 3rd and 4th and short. Mr Payton needs to fix that ASAP. We have good RB's that should be able to convert on those short yards. This loss stings and were close to almost winning this game against a very good team.

I just saw a very interesting stat on ESPN just a few minutes ago. It mentioned the Saints were dead last in short yardage situations along with the Cowboys Jags and Rams. The same situation in 2008. We must cure that 3rd and 4th and short problem. Other teams make it look so easy where we make it look very difficult. We don't want to struggle with that problem in 2011.

We played against a great football team! The defending champs at Lambeau in a tough environment where we put 34 points on them. And credit to the Packers defense, they have a very good defense. And these 2 offenses are nearly identical. They score alot of points along with 2 phenominal QB's.

 The defense? Horrendous. Still can't tackle nor stop the run. I think Gregg Williams has alot to answer for that. But you know what? We have a 10 day break to fix these problems before we face the Bears at the Dome. I believe we will get back to 1-1 and kick butt from there. So everyone needs to relax, it's one game. We have 15 more to go and we can win this division to get home field advantage.  Let's focus on the positives for the next game.  Keep the faith CSCers!
