So are we thinking

Lance is out for this game too?

by SarahT on Jan 11, 2012 4:05 PM CST reply actions

I'm more concerned about Harper

If Lance doesn’t practice tomorrow, he’s probably out again for this game.

Knowing Payton, Harper just has a really bad mosquito bite on his ankle and will be back out there practicing tomorrow

Either that or he’s become an amputee.

whattup Saints fans!

Giants fan here…got a little tired of the back and forth between the giants and packer fans. Things have been pretty heated for a couple of days and people have been going after each other (me included). So I need a break from all that.

So, are you guys happy we beat the falcons, or would have rather they play the pack? What do you think our chances are of beating the Pack? I know personally, I’m going to be rooting my ass off for the 9ers, cuz I do not want to go to the dome if we beat the pack.

I got banned from Jests Blog for saying Chad Henne has better stats than Mark Sanchez. And they think they're the big brothers in this town? LMAO try again little sisters!

I admit I was surprised at how well you beat the falcons, although I feel match up wise you present a much better opponent to GB. You played them tight in the first game in NY….I hope the Sunday game is just as tight, although with a different outcome.

Best of luck.

Me too

Very surprised at how the Falcons only scored 2 points. If my Saints can pull off the win on Saturday, I’ll definitely be rooting hard for the Giants on Sunday.

this may sound like hindsight bragging

and I’m not saying I knew the D would pitch a shut out. That being said…1. the GMen get killed by the quick, scat type of RBs like, Shady, Reggie Bush, Fred Jackson. But they really shut down power backs, like Shonn Greene and Frank Gore. 2. Boley was brought in to hold down TEs, because they were killing us in the NFC East: Whitten, Celek, Cooley & F Davis, so I had a good feeling he cold stop Gonzo….so I was pretty confident. Anyway…how’re you guys feeling about the 9ers? you think you got their number? easy game or nail biter? and if you lose, is someone losing their job, or is everyone pretty secure?

It's a coin flip.

Evenly matched teams. If we lose we lose…not a big deal as far as job security is concerned. They are the #2 seed after all.

there is absolutely no chnace we lose. Alex smith, Frank Gore, Ginn, Crabtree, Willis

are all very good players with absolutely no playoff experience. Look for them next year.. Alex Smith will play like he did the last dew years. Good defense, no offense.

nah

neither Harbaugh will make the playoffs next year. Cards and Seahawks will be better. And Bengals will be better, especially with all those Raider draft picks.

Glad you guys whipped the Falcons

Was nice to see them get creamed after everyone saying they were the class of the division before the season started.
Also, with your d-line vs. GB’s busted o-line, I think you have a better chance to beat them than the Falcons would have, and if you do (and we beat San Fran, of course) that puts the NFC championship game in our house.

Great win against the Falcons

Now go and beat the Pack so we can have the NFCCG in the Dome after we beat the 49ers
We no how it goes with getting heated I have yet to hear anything out of 49er fans except our Offense doesn’t really mean anything because we have never faced a D like theirs LOL

I’m picking y’all to beat them…y’all almost did it a few weeks ago and I don’t get why all the pundits seem to have forgotten that. After that, though, y’all will have to come to the Superdome.

honestly dreading the superdome

But hey, I love N.O. I was stationed in Pensacola a few years back and i litereally spent every single weekend somewhere on Bourbon Street. Can’t tell you how many times my car got towed and I didn’t care. Even though, I’m fairly convinced it was a scam.
