The Candlestick Park grass is damp this morning, but it’ll dry by game time. It should be a fast track for 49ers vs. Saints.

Well now…..would u look at that….. : )

Good luck to the Saints

Die-hard Lions fan here. Hope you kick the 9-ers butts. I can’t stand Harbaugh. I also think you are on balance the better team. Certainly your offense has to be the best in the NFL, and with Alex Smith at the helm, I don’t think they will beat you with the passing game. Just shut down Gore and it’s all good. Again, good luck on the rest of the season.

As long as we get 7 before half, I can live with 17-7 at half.

The one thing we’ve really done is give them easy scores. Two defenders ran into each other on the Davis TD, then the Brees pick they started at the 3, and the Roby fumble was at the 13. If we stop with the mistakes, we can still win this.

Having the ball is better than not having the ball. And if you punt,
not only does it mean you don't have the ball anymore—
it means you didn't score, which sucks.

Actually, the proper call was to give the ball back to the Saints.

When there’s an inadvertant whistle, the possession doesn’t change if the defense didn’t have the ball BEFORE the whistle. Detroit clearly didn’t, so the ball should have been given to the Saints.
