Evans is locked up to a multi year deal
So he probably meant " like them "…but you can never tell with Payton. Considering that the Saints have the best offense ( yardage record ) in NFL history, its a no brainer to lock down all of the core group that you can. The Saints problem is lack of play makers on the other side of the ball. I think the Saints defensive woes were just as much a personnel issue as it was scheme.
I'm thinking he's talking about their eventual replacements. As in, ROOKS
I'd rather not wait until I'm dead to figure out how to live.
