Loomis confirms Saints-Dolphins to trade 6th round picks
Saw this and thought I'd post it to show that this is official. You have to get down to the bottom to see this:
"The Saints will see some marginal improvement elsewhere in the draft, though. Loomis said that as the final piece of the trade that sent Reggie Bush to Miami last year, the Saints and the Dolphins will swap sixth-round picks in April."
I wish we'd have had the forethought to make this a conditional pick based upon Bush getting 1,000 yards rushing. Oh, well.

Better then nothing
I was all for cutting him outright
So the way I see it we didnt get stuck with any of his salary
We were able to sign Sproles
And we get a better 6th round pick

It’s a shame they could have moved him prior to signing Sproles. Most teams realized he was going to wind up getting cut by then. Probably could have gotten a 4th, had that not been so obvious, although Philly was in hot pursuit at the time, so I guess it’s better not to press our luck on something under the table.

A hearty laugh @ everyone who asserted we’d SURELY get a 1st or 2nd for the wunderkind decoy, if ever we were to lose our minds and trade him.

Was hoping for a fifth honestly.
I admit…I’m incredibly disappointed we didn’t get a late round pick out right. Trading roughly 15 spots in the 6th round…is barely worth mentioning.
