I know just about everyone here hates on Bleacher report Sarah T...

So expect a little hassle, but I also get the BR, and sometimes they have a few gems. Entertaining if nothing else.

But I can’t agree. If the title was “COULD” be the first team to host a super bowl, yeah, I’d completely agree. It’s completely possible that we COULD host it next year, and I’d love for it to be so.

But WILL? Sorry. There was absolutely no “proof”, which is what you need for “will”.

On the other hand, for BR, the rest of it was very reasonable. The arguments were logical, and if it was “could” instead of “will”, they’d be very convincing as well.

Who's the "Home" team this year - AFC or NFC?

That would be funny if we did host, but were the Away team…

…so IF it does happen, the Saints would not only be the first team to play the SB in their home stadium, they would also be the “home team” for the game. Wouldn’t want to be the AFC team in that scenario!

this is just like some of us fans saying “we got this”. of course we havent played the game yet and maybe we should win it, or can win it or even are expected to lose it. remember we lost a few games due to the black pants. lol
