Allow myself to introduce....... Myself..

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen! Ive been poking around the far reaches of the internet to find something quite like this, a place where avid saints fans come to be a community forum and speak of their thoughts about their favorite team, The New Orleans SAINTS. I knew Jimmy Graham would be special this year, as I told my other mom (ya know, one of those women who looked after you that isnt your natural birthmother) and she said she likes her some Moore and thought he would be special. Fact of the matter is is that they all our special and they make one of the best teams I've come to see in my life. Fact of the matter is im a saints fan by way of an accident. Didnt lose a bet or anything like that, however a little something more serious. My best friend whom I've claimed to be my little brother, was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash back in March of 2009. His name was Justin, and was in the Air Force stationed at Shaw AFB in South Carolina. The accident was by no means his fault entirely, but an eldery woman of the ripe age of 65 decided she had the right of way coming onto a highway and pulling out in front of him. She failed to yield the right of way and he landed on the median suffocating for the next 15 minutes till paramedics arrived and pronounced him DOA. My other "mother" was his actual birthmother. That is why he is my little brother and she will always be represented as MOM when I speak to her. His mother, father, sister, and two nephews live in Shreveport LA right now, where he was born and raised. I was already a fan of football, but I didnt have a team to root for my own. I liked Brees when he came out of the draft in the second round. I liked how aggressive Sean Payton was when he was with the Giants and Cowboys staff under Parcells. When Drew and Payton came together in '06 I knew it would be something special. I was not sold yet though. My brothers passion about the saints led me to start liking the franchise more and more. The fans are loyal. The players have class. And the city is beautiful and rich with culture. His death triggerd my persuasion to finally call the saints "my team". The more I watched the saints, the more I fell in love. I used to flip channels just to catch a big play from whoever was playing. Now i can keep it on one channel, and be satisfied. Enthusiastically satisfied. I love Justin just as much as I love my own natural brother. If there was more time that me and him could have spent together im sure he would have had me convinced that im a fan of this great team. Justin was a conduit for me being a fan. So now I Bleed Black And Gold till I die. I love this team. Sorry for the lengthy introduction and if it kinda jumps back and fourth. mind is scattered after a long day at work. Im proud to be part of the Who Dat Nation. -Matt
