More draft options 2nd round or later...
More options we can start discussing for the Draft. I'll list some draft prospects For DT/DE. Some of these are listed as 1st or 2nd round draft prospects. Some are 3rd round or later. Let the conversation be whether or not, they will available at our 2nd round pick or later, as well as should they be considered. I used NFL DRAFT SCOUT to get this list. Also list and discuss any others you feel may be available, that we should target. For this post let's keep it to the Defensive side of the field. Went a little further in round projections with this post, because I'm hoping LB'er is a higher priority.

I like Cam Johnson a fair amount.
I loved Curry, thought he’d be a steal at the end of the second…unfortunately he just blew up the Senior Bowl and can only climb from here…if he shows up well at the combine and interviews well…he can wind up sneaking into the first round.
Crick has all the potential in the world…was supposed to be an early first round pick until the injuries sidelined him the last couple of years. Huge injury concern…just as big of an upside though.
-Lombardi was wrong...it's the internet, not fatigue that makes cowards of us all. But then again, what do you expect. Not like the guy could see the future.
Isn't it amazing the difference...
Between the Senior Bowl and the Pro Bowl. In the Senior Bowl they are out to prove their worth, in the Pro Bowl it’s just about the check and the good time. No problem with that just would rather watching a game where effort is given on both sides of the field.

Crick is a big injury risk, but if he’s still there in the 4th or 5th we’d almost have to take a chance on him if he truly is as good as he seems. At that point the risk/reward factor is off the scale, and somebody will take a shot at him by at least the 7th… might as well be us.
I like the idea of having two Cams on the line. :) We’d see the Punkthers and raise them a Cam.
Actually...
Some Mock Drafts have the Panthers targeting Cam number 2 in the draft.

Crick will probably be gone by the third at least...just too much potential. I'd definitely take a shot with our third rounder if he was there...but I have a feeling he goes late second/early third.
