Andrew Juge stops by to break down film on the Lions and explain why Detroit is about to be decapitated, why the Saints defense gives up yards by the thousands, why the aforementioned doesn't matter and why the Saints should forget defense and re-sign Marques Colston and Carl Nicks.

Dave tries to calm down and explain Peter King's stupid Brett Favre/Aaron Rogers MVP comparison. Kevin thinks the Lions will do whatever it takes to hit Drew Brees and Ralph reminds everyone to make sure Brees has plenty of beefy mac.

Great podcast this week guys

1. Thanks for having Andrew on. Something about the way he explains things allows me to visualize things in my head like his explanation of why the Saints defense allows so much yardage yet holds teams to a relatively low number of points. Same thing with what time of game plan the Lions need to bring.

2. Kevin – you mentioned something about a guy who did a big break down of stats for Brees and Rodgers and you thought the breakdown might help people understand why Rodgers might be better suited for MVP. I think part of the problem is that not every voter is going by that. Chris Collinsworth said he voted for Rodgers because GB beat the Saints in the first game. That basically takes all those stats and shoves them in the s****er.

3. I am coming to the conclusion that maybe it’s Brees’s personality that is keeping him from getting the credit that he deserves. He isn’t married to a supermodel. He doesn’t come from a famous football family. Rodgers is a nice guy but Brees is almost Saintlike (no pun intended) – I am halfway done with his book and God is mentioned a million times. He helped rebuild an entire city for Christ sake. He’s been with the same woman since he was 20. Maybe he’s too good a person. His stats keep him in the discussion, his personality of putting himself last keeps him from taking any of the credit. Just a thought…

I think if she did something different with her hair it would look better. Now is she a great woman? Hell yes, especially after reading his book. I think she’s a bad a** chick who stood by her man through a hell of a lot.

She’s blonde. Got a cute smile. Certainly not ugly by any means. But Drew COULD be with someone considered by society to be HOT. All the more reason to like him: Drew cares about personality.

That was my point which I know you get – they’ve been together since he was 20 and she’s stuck by him through thick and thin. S*** even their love story sounds made up. I just think maybe he sounds too good to be true and it’s made the media question him, maybe they don’t want to believe he’s the real deal.
