HD and Jimbo should be by soon to converse.

I just want to say that I think you would vote for my favorite nickname for these Saints. “Quiet Storm”, which is also the nickname of Marques Colston who is just the most awesome, soft-spoken guy you’ve ever met. You might have noticed him. He’s the guy that does nothing in the end zone when he catches the ball.

Similar to Calvin

We are taught from an early age how to deal with failure not success. (If at first you don't succeed try try again, if at first you succeed then what....) -Charlie Sheen

I come ready, when I came out the womb I was ready, tell them mama that's why you had me, you knew I was ready. -Moss

Dominating your opposition physically is great and all, but confounding them mentally is sooo much more fun.

There was a great article by a Saints fan/writer praising Calvin like crazy. Yeah, he's

clearly special and has alot more on his shoulders to bear than Marques has to.

sorry for bad spelling to fellaz, i have a bad neck with surgerys and on pain pills that messes me up bad, hard to type correct

also wanted to say when it came to bad calls by the ref, in my eyes this was the best officiating I saw all year on a lions game. both sides had mist calls but thats good. im so damn tired of reffs call flags on every other play. so that in my eyes equals out. WIN IT ALL SAINTS FANS.

by sandvet on Jan 8, 2012 10:52 AM CST reply actions

no worries, friend

and with the refs, you never know what you’re going to get each game, and I think it all usually evens out in the long haul…

Having the ball is better than not having the ball. And if you punt,
not only does it mean you don't have the ball anymore—
it means you didn't score, which sucks.

thank you to

its ok just sucks to be dopped up all the time lol I needed it last night tho lol

Do you do any physical therapy. I swear, I could tell you stories.

I do Tai Chi and I have never felt better. I still have a couple of kinks in my back but just about back to normal from, before, when I had a collarbone dislocated for somewhere between 15 and 30 years and didn’t even know it. Yeah, don’t ask.

I’m sure if a back is in too bad shape, it wouldn’t be a good idea. But, something to think about, maybe. And, if you’re already doing it, keep it up. I can tell you for a fact that it works aLOT.

Wow! That's bad. Yikes.

So, you’ll find most of the main conversations on the home page. Just realize we have some homers (I’m one of the worst) and some people that can get ticked pretty easily (I’m not listed on that exchange at all). So, sorry, if somebody gets huffy or puffy.

So, guys tell me if I'm out of line here at all.

sandvet, I’m sure no official representative. Just tend to put thought in brain, go directly to mouth and blat.

Sup Bro.

Sorry you have to deal with VA. It is the worry of all of us upon exiting the military. My Mom had some bad experiences as well.

I’m going for the retirement thing to hopefully avoid it and stay with TRICARE.

Do they have any positive prognosis on recovery from your injury?

I'd rather not wait until I'm dead to figure out how to live.

I do

if the rehab doesnt work I will have nero surgery. the VA is great tho, i dont have to pay a cent for my procedures there doing. the timetable is long however with it being free its ok to me. So ya it it what it is, drink water drive on lol.

LOL

Drink water. If water can’t fix it, you’re probably just malingering. HAHA.

By the way, Hooah, I don't think I ever got around to thanking you for

your service. I think it’s because it’s just sort of slowly dawned on me that you are doing what you’re doing. Anyways, thanks for what you’re doing.

Thanks, bro.

It’s my pleasure.

Thanks, man. and..
in my eyes this was the best officiating I saw all year on a lions game.

That’s the same thing I said last night… re: officiating during a Saints game this year.

by Dan Kelly on Jan 8, 2012 1:24 PM CST up reply actions

Thank you Sandvet

You guys played a good game – hell, it was 24-21 in the fourth!! Stafford is one good QB, I think, and good for you if he stays healthy…

Calvin Johnson – I wouldn’t mind if we don’t see him for a loooong time, and your defense got some takeaways, too.

Lots to build on – after we broke through into the playoffs in 2006, it took a couple years for us to get back, but maybe you can avoid the back-slide (except for you having %^&$ Green Bay in your division, though, and discount double-check them right into oblivion, please).

Have a nice offseason and thank you for your support!

I'll second that comment about Calvin and add to it.

I wish, more than any other NFC team I can think of, that the Lions were in the AFC so we wouldn’t have to face them very often and only face them in the Superbowl, when it comes to the playoffs.

Thanks for the mad props guys. Its feels good to hear.

thanks guys, I feel like my team is close but not there yet

brees is great and should be MVP, great leader so damn humble and I think besides stafford SUH respects him and I had never seen suh help a QB up before and SUH helped him up. you guys are Just a great team. Aaron rogers is cocky and needs your team to take it to them. I love your city and your fans treated all lions fan there with full respect.

Suh....

I noticed Suh help Brees up as some of you did. It can only mean one thing. RESPECT. This has given me reason to re-evaluate my opinion about Suh. You are a class act Sandvet. I only hope that we “Dat’s” would be so gracious if the the outcome were different.
