Call Out and Response: The Return of the Accountability Index

A long long time ago, on a Canal Street Chronicles far away, there was once a member who attempted to bring to light all the crazy delusions that lurked within the bowels of Canal Street Chronicles. That user has since moved on to other things, but his legacy remains, and unfortunately so do the crazies.

There was one comment in particular, from the predictions before the Packers game that I still haven't been able to let go of. That comment was seared into my mind as the height of foolish fan delusion, and it was that comment that has inspired me to reignite the flame of truth, and to pick up the banner of accountability on CSC.

Now, most of you might be unaware of how this little game works. Users WILL be called out by name, and WILL be encouraged to come to terms with their deluded statements about the Saints, the NFL, or sports and pop culture in general.

So, which comment was it that threw me over the edge? It was this bombshell from user tommy v on Sept 28th of this year.

Really tommy? The Saints D looking like a top defense? That, my friends, is true delusion. Call it a 8.5 on the 10 point Crazy Ditka scale.

But that was just the beginning. Here's a look at some of the other incredible things our members have said recently:

Saints would look like a #1 D against the Packers

D gave up 421 yards and 28 points. Packers moved the ball at will.

[Cadet] seems like a young sproles. able to play both at RB and a quasi receiver

Tommy V (again)

“the Saints will be the Superbowl Champions in the Superdome in 2013.
WHO DAT!”

TBD still, but not looking good.

Jack Sharkey

The Saints Will Make The Playoffs in 2012

TBD for sure, but still deserves to be posted here.

Joseph William Stern

The Saints were guilty of a pay-to-injure program.

Evidence for bounty program flimsy as far as has been made public. Jury still out?
