Saints RB Darren Sproles will not play Monday night against the Eagles after injuring his hand, interim head coach Joe Vitt confirmed during a press conference today.

The team wouldn't say which hand was injured but did confirm that Sproles had to have surgery. There is no timetable for his expected return.
Well this is great news! Maybe that means Chris Ivory and/or Travaris Cadet will actually see the field for a change. Nah, probably not.
Courtney Roby has also been ruled out of Monday night's contest with a shoulder injury.
