I'm getting excited
I guess I’m just wanting anything to get excited about at this point.
I guess I can go anywhere I want. If only I knew where to go-Layne Staley
A good hire
And an interesting one, too. Flajole has spent more time coaching linebackers than defensive backs…so during all the blame-Vitt talk recently, I wondered if Flajole would be the logical successor if we blamed Vitt out of his job.
What! shall we curse the planets of mishap
That plotted thus our glory's overthrow?
He's spent a good amount of time at both really.
Three years as a secondary coach in Seattle where they helped lead the league in interceptions…30 alone in 1999. Also was a secondary coach in college and had a team that led the nation in total defense including first in passing defense. I really like this move.
-Lombardi was wrong...it's the internet, not fatigue that makes cowards of us all. But then again, what do you expect. Not like the guy could see the future.
Excellent hire.
Linebacker coach of Carolina under John Fox when they were known as an excellent defensive team. Also was the secondary coach in Seattle under Holmgren. During that time his secondary led the league in interceptions.

Ranked 7th in Pass D last season with a string of injuries at the position...
Yes sir we want the ball...
I feel much better bearing that, bondcrash.
I was beginning to worry about hiring coaches from a losing team.

Good stat, but
It’s not like teams needed to pass the ball a lot against the Rams. The Rams had scoring problems and most teams could just run the ball to run out the clock.

I've learned so much from my mistakes...I'm thinking of making a few more!"
I hope he can teach them....
