I know what you mean!

I watched the first two episodes of "Luck"
I enjoyed it but I was confused during most of the show because I know absolutely nothing about horse racing. Must say it’s extremely cool to see Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte on the same show.

I watched the entire Game of Thrones season
A couple of weeks ago and I am officially addicted. TV shows today take entirely too long in between seasons and it makes no sense as most of them a only 10 to 13 episodes. I think “V” wouldn’t have been canceled so quickly if they had filmed an entire first season instead of a few episodes and then made everybody wait for months. Everybody lost interest by that time.

only caught the latter part..
drew was a total pro, as expected & he answered a few crazy “who-dats” from what appeared to be the gallery, as he looked up.. with his own: “who-dat”.. some of the other players appeared bored & ready to go..
peyton manning looked like he was holding down tears.. rodgers acknowledged him in an unusual gesture of class..

i'd rather see the patriots winning.. the giant luck has to end at one point..
they are an adequate team.. good passing game.. nice pass-rushing defense.. but i can’t help think that in the big picture, they are impostors, “playing with our football”, sort of say..
one good thing about them getting there, is that the sorry-ass-niners didn’t.. which is always a good thing..
also, it will basically eliminate them from contention for 2012, according to the semi-trend of the SB loser, eventually tanks the next season..
on the gloomy side.. a lot of “contenders” were left with a bloody eye (no, people.. it wasn’t just us..) the most notable:
GB and SF
good game to everybody..
to 2012..
saints inconceivably good..
SB47
I didn't watch it either
The only thing I know is I wasn’t able to watch it until 9:00 PST, hours after they announced who wins the awards. I’ve heard from a lot of people that it was pretty bad though.

Regarding Darren Rovell...
Here’s the lowdown, courtesy of deadspin: http://deadspin.com/5882348/darren-rovell-is-super-pissed-about-the-state-of-the-playboy-super-bowl-party-playboy-bunny-strikes-back
Here it is, in two sentences: Guy said the gals at the Playboy party weren’t up to his standard. Earlier that night basically pulled a “Do you know how many Twitter followers I have?” card to a photographer when he wouldn’t take his pic with a Playmate.
Dude is a DB. And I don’t mean “defensive back.”
"Gowin on fourth and 14 will punt it away. He hangs it very high, angling it for the near sideline...HAKIM DROPS THE BALL!!! HAKIM DROPS THE BALL!! Brian Milne might've fallen on it at the ten yard line! It's the New Orleans Saints' football! Brian Milne, the most unlikely hero of them all, falls on the fumble, the muff by Hakim! There is a God after all!" -- Jim Henderson

I’ll be in bed by then. Just not worth staying up to watch. Of course if we had been in it I would have burned a vacation day, or two if we won it. Since we aren’t I’ll just DVR it and watch at some later point maybe.
